Hi,
I have the same event on two dates. They are not lined up under the dates. One event is closer to the date than the other.
Spacing of letters of word are not correct but looks fine on the screen that I am typing on.

Louise

Hi, Louise,

Try this:
Right-click on the event. Toward the lower left of the box that pops up, you'll see Event Effects. Change the radio button from Box Event to Banner Event.

I'm not sure I understand about the letter spacing issue. How does it look in print preview, and also when the calendar is printed?

Hi, Louise,

Using the Banner Event, the event description will flow across the affected dates. This screen capture may help.
-------------

David, can the banner event description expand to two lines? I tried a lengthier description, but it got cut off.

It's always been my experience that banner events are confined to 1 line of text. It may try to show more, but it won't be successful. My banner events have always extended across at least 2 days, and have allowed enough text to show, along with using the smallest font.

You can also have more than one banner event, and if the text won't fit into one, you can split the text into two events once you know where the break will occur in a single event.

Thanks, David.

Thanks,
My second question is if I type a word such as School...the letters blend together (on top of each other) yet looks fine in the box I am typing in.

It could be simply the way the computer is displaying the chosen font while you're editing. The important thing: how does the end product turn out, the printed calendar, if this is the goal?
