I am new to this program and trying to make return address labels using the Avery template 5195. I have a Mac with El Capitan IOS.
i have created a project but when I open a text box, the text is too small to see or read. i'm sure this is a simple keystroke but I'm stumped. I watched the video and followed the steps but i don't see any instructions for this. Even increasing the font size to max doesn't change it. Thank you for any help.

I have the PC version, but I also get the weird tiny font size. My workaround is to start typing my address, then I select all, change the font size to 68 (or thereabouts), then click on the end of the line and continue typing.

Thanks for that tip...It worked. Can you tell me why I sometimes get a red line box around the text with a little box on the bottom? It doesn't seem do do anything. I can't move it or change the size and it doesn't show up on the printed labels. Thanks again.

That's for text box linking, so that text can overflow from one text box to another.

Edited: It indicates that there is more text than the box can show. (it may only be a blank line, but that's still valid text) So if there is more text, either make the text box bigger or create a linking text box to accommodate text overflow.

I just purchased Print Master Platinum v.8. I am trying to create Return Address Labels template. I use the text box to create the name, address, city, state and zip.
How do I populate the template (Avery no. 5195) with a filled out page of labels so that I can print on the appropriate Avery form?

You have to add a text box. Once that is active, you click on First name, click Insert.

Then, type a couple of spaces and click last name, then click insert.

Press the enter key to go down one or two. Do the same for all the other fields.

The program will auto repeat everything on your LABEL project so that the whole page of labels will all print identically. Just be sure you start with a LABEL project such as the new blank label project in this screen snip.

Jason's advice is for mail merging where you would want a DIFFERENT address printed on each label.

tip: If you choose a Ready-Made label template, your label sheet filter should be:

  • SINGLE - if you want that single label to be duplicated to fill the entire sheet.
  • SHEET - if you don't want to print a whole sheet of labels. For example, when several labels have already been peeled off the sheet, and you only need one label to print on column 2, row 5.
