Yes, you can show file extensions. I don't believe you mentioned your Windows version, but go to Control Panel (if you don't know how, let us know and we'll get you there when we know the Windows version). When you're in Control Panel, go to the search box (upper right?). Enter the search: show file extensions That should lead you to Folder Options. In the View tab, Uncheck: Hide extensions for known file types. If you'll be working with various versions of the same calendar collection file, I'll suggest that you name each one distinctly. You can of course delete ones you don't need when everything is as you want it. Added: In Windows 8.1, and probably Windows 10, you can open the Windows search: Right-click the Start button, and choose Search. Enter the search: show file extensions Select the result "Show or Hide file extensions" and it'll take you right to Folder Options.
