Sometimes, a game requires that it is removed from the computer and reinstalled due to technical issues.

If a game is malfunctioning in Steam, right click on the game listing and select "Delete Local Content"

This will delete the game. Right click on the listing again and select "Install Game" in order to reinstall your game
