LinneaHanson -> General questions on product (6/24/2016 7:29:43 PM)

I am considering buying CC and have a few questions. I hope this is the right forum. 1. Does it work in Windows 10? 2. Is it compatible w/ HP printers? 3. Will it print on 12 X 12 paper? 4. Can I print a 12 X 24" calendar, with the photo on one page and the calendar on a second page? Thanks.

You do have the right forum.

Users have reported that CC 12.1 will run in Windows 10.

It should be compatible with HP printers (I have one that works without issue with CC), though it's known that CC does not like multi-function printers of any brand. If yours is a standalone printer, you should be fine.

It should print on 12 x 12 paper if your printer is capable of printing to that size, of course.

There are numerous pre-defined paper sizes in CC, and you can create your own custom size.

CC is flexible in calendar design, and although you would have to work with the customization, you should be able to print a project with a calendar on one page, and a photo on another.

Once you have CC, you can get help here on the forum if your project design gives you any difficulty.

Since CC is not specifically designed to print a photo on one page and the calendar on a second page, the best course of action for a project of that nature would be to print the calendar pages separate from the picture pages, then combine the two print jobs.

Most CC calendar projects which involve printing the photos separate from the calendars are referred to as 'flip' calendars. When the calendar is hung on the wall, the photo is on the top (on a separate sheet of paper) and the calendar is on the bottom. Then, when the month is changed, the bottom page is flipped to the top, which reveals another photo on the top and calendar on the bottom. This is accomplished by printing the calendar on one side of a sheet of paper, then printing a photo on the other side of the same sheet of paper.
