I purchased Printmaster V-7 as I had Printmaster Platinum 18 and windows 10 will no longer use this version. I also purchased an Epson xp-830 printer. I have never used an Epson and always have been a HP printer.. but I now have an Epson and my problem is that I am unable to print business cards. I am using Clean Edge Business Cards Avery 8859. Unfortunately, the business cards will not print correctly. What am I doing incorrectly? The preferation will not fit the cards. I have been on the telephone all day with Avery and Epson and now they have referred me back to printmaster to find out as to why it refuses to print correctly. Can anyone send me the instructions as to how I can print them. I have not tried the return labels, but I fear I may have a problem with those as well. The business cards I have prints 10 to a page... and the return labels will be printing 30 to a page.

Thank you so much....

When you purchase a new printer, the latest drivers may not be in the box. While plugging in the USB cable will offer basic Windows 10 functionality, you should check the Epson website for updated software packages and drivers.

Additionally where did you purchase PrintMaster v7 from? Make sure you're using the latest patch update. Click on Help > Check for Updates.

You can also play around with the different image sizes and check them in Print Preview if you're not getting the complete fit.

See example below.

Avery 8859 has a gap between the two columns. Did you include that gap in your custom business card template? Without it, your template does not match 8859.

I looked at a picture of 8859 on Amazon, so it looks like a horizontal gap of 0.5 inches and no vertical gaps. Please adjust these figures if necessary.

thank you so much Tmlfan4life for that helpful hint. The left hand side now works on the Avery 8859 business cards... but I am still running into trouble with the right hand side. Hopefully I can explain better... You can make 10 business cards on a preferated Avery sheet 8859 sheet. (5 business cards on each side). The left hand side of 5 cards are fantastic after I put in the horizontal .5 spacing. But the right hand side of 5 cards are still way off!!! I measured the paper in the middle and it is 1/2"; 1/2 all around the paper as well as in the middle. Any more helpful hints to move the business cards that are having problems onto the right hand side spread?

Thank you.

YEA!!! I had to increase the horizontal amount in the middle. It is workable, but man, I have never ever had to keep adjusting. Thank you for everyone who helped me! This forum really works!!!!

That's great![:)] Make a note of the numbers you used or keep using the same project and resave under another name for different designs.
