memalady -> DROP DOWN SHADOW (10/24/2016 12:51:29 PM)

I cannot make the drop down shadow come down on the letters....only on the box. Could someone please tell me how to apply drop down shadow on letters only. thank you
Also, this is me 2nd time asking this question, but I didn't see it on the question list. If it does appear twice, I sorry....I will learn how to use this as I spend more time on it.

When you create a text box and work with the text, the Text Tab should be highlighted. In this case select drop shadow and it should allow you to adjust this.

Thank you for help with this problem. It does work. But I guess it does not work on text written in the shape box. Thanks again

It is very easy sometimes to confuse the Headline options with the Text Box although both tabs have the same options when you work with them. In order to change the text in a headline, this must be done at the top of the screen rather than clicking on the text to try and edit it. It's a white box with text

Text in a shape doesn't rewrap nicely when you resize the shape (instead, you have to manually add/ delete line breaks). If you have a lengthy paragraph, it's easier to edit when it's in a regular text box i.e. you can edit the font size, font type, the width/ length of the text box - and the text will rewrap.
