ascott -> Editing Calendar pre-existing Clip Art (11/18/2016 4:02:15 PM)

When using the pre-existing clip art for a calendar, can I remove the month at the bottom right of the object? Or can I change the color of the month from black? When I try to standard commands like: mirror, flip, or rotate the month is backward (ie yluj). Is there another way to do this?

Yes. Click it to select it. Hit Delete key. If you can't select it, it's probably underneath another element. See end of this post.

Unfortunately, no.

You are trying to mirror, flip, rotate the CLIPART, not the calendar, right? If so, make sure you are only selecting the clipart. If you are selecting the calendar, try sending it to the back or moving it out of the way, so you can then click on the clipart.

Would you be able to add a photo to illustrate these instructions.

Click on the piece of clipart you wish to work with.

At this point, on your Clipart category, all these buttons should be active. Whatever you choose is applied to the piece of clipart you clicked.

It will be more meaningful if I showed you how to do this with the calendar project you are using. Please post the name of the project and I will find it in the ready-made projects and make screen shots for you here.

The template is called "Through They Year." It is under the print at home tab and the front says "My Calendar 2015"

Ellen is right about the selection of clipart. I did find the template ascott mentioned but that Calendar window is considered one large clipart frame so flipping it won't be useful (Unless you're printing using another paper orientation [:)] )

I have looked through every Calendar template in this program, but can't find one called
Through They Year or
Through The Year or
Through The Years

Check out the Year button from the Calendar section of the Design Tool bar on the left side.

Yes, you can add color. Select the image, click the Edit button within the Calendar section of the Design Tool bar. The Calendar Settings box opens. Make your color selections.

No, you can't edit one month out of the "Year calendar" because it is a single image, not 12 separate images. Instead, you can add 11 separate months (via the Month button).

As a workaround to "removing the month at the bottom right", just cover it up with a rectangle the same color as the background.

I just now posted this article on my blog. It relates to your issue, I think, because I found a calendar template which contained a clipart that looks like the calendar for 2011. A clipart such as this can't be edited for any useful purpose, so I simply delete it and replace it via the Design Tool's Calendar function.
