I am trying to download a Printmaster Pack that I purchased and it is telling me I must have at least version 3.1 in order to download. I have checked for updates and it says I am up to date. On my about page it says: PrintMaster Platinum Version 7.0.2.245.

Please help me.

Story Rock offers Technical Assistance for add on packs. If you are having issues using the graphics, please see the FAQ here:

http://www.printmasterpacks.com/support/faqs

You can still download the files as a traditional zip and use the files which are suitable for any program.

Can you help me with the fact that my software won't update to Version 3.1? Or do I need to be on another forum?

I re-read your post. If I am reading correct, You have PrintMaster Platinum v7.

You posted to the PrintMaster 2011 forums so please do confirm the version you are using. Regardless, all PrintMaster packs require the installation of the Oracle Java runtime which must be downloaded at www.java.com

If you're still encountering issues, use the link I gave in a previous post for further assistance as these forums do not offer Technical Support.

You can also contact Encore Support here: http://support.encore.com/technicalsupport/tech_support_frm.aspx?product_id=3708 for troubleshooting your installation of PrintMaster.

Hi, annette,

I've downloaded many of their packs, and a lot of their freebies, too! It's just my personal preference, but I select the option to download the zipped file to my "Scrapbook Supplies" folder, rather than install into my PrintMaster program.

After extracting the zipped file, I can organize the papers and embellishments however I want, but mostly I like that these graphics are now available to all my different programs. PrintMaster can also easily access these graphics via the Clip Art menu's Custom button, where you can browse to the location you stored them.

When I get a new computer, I can easily move my Scrapbook Supplies folder to it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I have created a Scrapbook Supplies folder. I'm still a novice at this stuff. So I appreciate your input!

You are very welcome! One of my first packs I got was 20 PG Vintage Memories 1 Book by MagicalReality Designs

I used some of its graphics to create this page:

Because the unzipped files are available to all my programs, I was able to use them in Adobe Photoshop Elements which has some advanced design tools that helped me achieve this look. But of course, this pack can make gorgeous pages in PrintMaster.

Are you subscribed to the mymemories newsletter? Every Wednesday, they have a new freebie to download for a limited time. It is the same shopping site, whichever one of these you enter.

This week's freebie, I think is really nice!
