Hiding "Page Thumbnails" Tab?

Is there a way to hide the Page Thumbnails tab at the bottom of the work screen? I'm finding that it takes up too much space when I'm working on a project, and I'm constantly having to zoom and scroll. Any ideas out there. Thanks!

At this time, it's not possible to hide the image tray. I agree that there should be the option to hide it.
