conniec -> Calendar Creator display / Print issue (3/27/2017 1:46:49 PM)

I have used CC for many years. All of a sudden now when I enter more than 2 meetings on one date, the additional meetings go to an overflow area with an arrow showing on the calendar itself. Previously I could put several meetings and it would shrink the font down to accommodate all the meetings on a specific day. I have tried to set the font to 8 on all meetings and still only 2 will show on my April Calendar for that specific day. I have changed my margins to 0 on all sides. Still will not display 3 meetings on a specific day. Can anyone help me to get all meetings to show on the calendar day?

Since you say that you've used Calendar Creator for many years, are you asking about an issue with a version prior to the 2016 release? If that's the case, I'll move the discussion to another forum that covers the older versions.

Try this (CC ver 12.1):
Right-click in an empty date box, go to the Miscellaneous tab, and see if "Fit event cell size to description" is checked or unchecked. If it's already checked, and you're using a size 8 font, we'll have to explore something else.

If that doesn't fix it, we may want to see a screenshot of the arrow you mention. What I don't understand is what might have changed settings, if this is only occurring now and hasn't been an issue in the past.

I had checked the "Fit event cell size to description" which you would think would do what it implies. I will try to add an attachment. I hopefully attached a pic. I had to save as a text file. The arrow is on Jan 16th. Just a little down arrow. And yes, I've been using this program for years. I called our IS dept. and had them uninstall and reinstall the program and it's behaving the same. The only work around I have found is to use week days only which allows 3 meetings per day.

I don't think the picture downloaded.

No, it doesn't seem to have made it into the message. It also looks like the attachment could be a text file, and not an image.

Use Windows Snipping tool to take a snapshot of the area on your screen. Save as JPG. The JPG can be uploaded in your post. The .txt file is only good for text, so it will not show us anything.

Also, to be clear, you are not using version 2016 which has not been around for years. (This thread can be moved to the CC 12.1 forum.)

It's possible that parts of CC 12.1 are now broken with your latest Windows updates. This program was never designed for Win 8/10.

When you start a blank calendar, the size of the calendar is not stretched all the way onto the whole workspace that you're given on a new blank project.

In order to see more of the text, stretch your calendar so that appears bigger and less gray area is shown.

That will allow the events to show up better.

See the 16th on the calendar. I was able to get the events to show without the dots to indicate there was more text.

Note, this was done for CC 2016 I think CC 12.1 is different.

Yes, Jason, this thread is about the old CC 12.1 program.
