The end time will carry over to the next day on the calendar. Make sure you uncheck the do not show time button. Next to the date, there is a small button. Click it to change the date. Next to the time, there is a button on the right. Click it and change the sliders to change the time. The start will appear on one date and end on the other. Currently it's not possible to show the start time for only one day, only going from one day to the next.
