Strombus -> How do I Change Color of Day Cell or Add Photo There (12/10/2017 9:44:39 AM)

I am still suffering with my All New Calendar Creator. I wish it was not all new. :-(
I would like to add a background color to certain days on my monthly calendar view or add a picture to the same place. I cannot figure out how to do these simple things in this version. I see how to add a picture to an event, but that is not what I need. Could you please help?

Events can be a solid color in a rectangle but cannot fill the whole square. In this screenshot, choose a color at the top left and make sure the transparent button is unchecked. If done correct, the color should fill around the event.

One thing to add, photos can be added freely by simply dragging them onto a project or clicking the button to the right of the T and adding it there.

That is a big disappointment that there is no option to change the cell colors. Thank you for the answer.

As a workaround, could you add a colored square shape layered under the cell?

That does work, I've done this with shapes before to do transparent things on projects.
