Johnny B -> Issue with inserting a photo (1/22/2018 12:52:01 PM)

When inserting and adjusting a photo, is there a way to lock the aspect ratio so that the picture doesn't get stretched and distorted while dragging the corner to change it's size? The little "picture adjustment" window that pops up allows you to do everything but that, it seems, and I can't find any other way to do it. It's nearly impossible to drag the corner at a perfect 45 degree angle to keep it from distorting. This was never a problem in the older version I used to use. Usually, in other photo software I've used, when you drag the corner it automatically maintains the correct ratio, and if you want to stretch the image, you would simply drag one side at a time. I'm perplexed as to why such a simple and important feature would be overlooked. I've also noticed that in order to get to the "undo" button on the toolbar, you keep having to click the Home tab, because every time you do something to adjust an object, the tool bar jumps to a different tab for that particular object. This is Extremely poor software design. There needs to be a separate toolbar for commonly used tools that is always available no mater what object tab you're on, as well as adding a few more to the "right click" menu for any given object you have inserted on the page.
