so i have made a calendar for the month of may with birthdays and now i want to make on for the same month but an event calendar and any time i go to May 2018 it brings up the old calendar events how do i start a new one that black for the same month?

There are ways of getting rid of the events. Deleting the events are one way but the bad news is you have to enter the data again.

In the first screenshot, see the events categories? You can click the + button to create your own category.....

Then, when you create your events you can assign each event for that category.

The benefits of having categories is that you can double click on the month and the year of the calendar and get a screen like mine.

By turning off categories, they are no longer on the calendar but still in the program for your future use.

Uncheck a box and they are gone.

so i was able to create 2 calendars and went to reopen the file that i saved and i can see the completed ones on the left but when i click on it its blank on the main table and ive tried every way that i can think of to open it but having no luck.
