Sigh. I just goofed.

I LOVE the "Star Collector" game, and play it, saving the game when I have to quit, and carrying on. I just goofed and saved the wrong game. I had a score up in the millions, and have been continuing to play, very curious what will happen when I go over 999,999,999. But today I was tired, and saved the wrong game. Now I'm down to 5000.

Sigh.

Is there any way to revert to a former high score?

I seen a post on here where if you go over a billion in the casino game, it resets back to a certain amount and displays a message about Billionaires Lament or something of the sort.

I've never hit a high score that high in the game but Wow! Hats off to you for achieving gaming greatness.

If you have overwritten a file, you won't be able to get it back.

There may be a way to recover it. Windows keeps track of versions of files. If you right click it and select properties, you will find out what I mean on one of the tabs.

This would be of course in the Hoyle game directory. Sorry I could not be of more assistance on that.

Thanks for the info! I did what you said and had a look around...I couldn't really tell which file might be the scores to this game. Do you know? Also, I'm not sure how to use Windows to restore that. Any ideas you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
