In the calendar creator version 12 how do you show the age of the person whose birthday is coming up on the calendar next.

If you cannot show how old they are, can you display the year they were born instead of just their name?

Do you have to type it into the name box or description box?

It would be really nice if each year it would show the age the person was turning.

Calendar Creator lets you use Functions for dates, and birthday is one of them. If you wanted only the birth year, you'd simply put that in a normal event and the year would never change.
This is from Help:

To apply a function to an event:

Click the Functions button in the Add Event or Modify Event dialog box. The Functions dialog displays.

Select a text topic in the Topic field. The Explanation field displays a description of the selected topic as it applies to the selected function.

Select a function in the Function field. This field lists the available functions that can be applied to each topic. View the Explanation field for descriptions of each function and topic.

Click the Paste Function button to apply the function to the event.

Click OK.

Be sure to paste the function at the appropriate place in the event description. In the example above, the text description should read: Bob and Anne's &Anniv.

Thanks, David. I'm going to add a screen capture.

Set the Start Date to the person's date (year) of birthday with a repeat rule of every year, and paste the &birthday function next to your text e.g. "Steve's". The program takes care of what prints after "Steve's".
