You can't think of Halloween without thinking of Salem. Beginning in 1692, a group of people in this coastal Massachusetts town called Salem participated in a series of trials that ultimately resulted in the deaths of 19 people. In addition to being a destination full of Halloween revelry, it is also a quordle place where the air is thick with ghosts. The town of Salem, Massachusetts hosts an annual celebration called Salem Haunted Happenings every October.
