I am new to this all. When I emailed the project -- the receiver received jiberish -- do we have to convert the project to a different format or something and if so -- how do you do that.

Yes, that's right, to open your e-mail attachment, your recipient must have the appropriate program. A PrintShop file can only be opened with a PrintShop program.

PrintShop can convert a copy of your project to JPG or GIF which are standard image files everyone can open.

Do "Export As" for each page of your project.
