Can anyone tell me if Printmaster Platium 17 Printshop Pro will do the following: I will be doing newsletters, programs, forms, etc. Someone told me I should get the Printshop Pro 22 Publisher. The reason I ask is their is a 60.00 difference in price and if Printmaster will work that is all I would get.

PrintMaster will do all desktop publishing documents. PrintShop has additional business form templates, but if you're like me, for the $60.00 difference, I can create any bus form in PrintMaster using a table.

Thanks, Two more questions from anyone.

1. Can you import .PDF or .PUB files. I have some templates I could use without starting over that were created with Microsoft Pub that end in both.

2. If I create something and save or export it to JPEG can I later go back and edit it if necessary.

1. No, PDF and PUB files will not open in Broderbund programs. Those are proprietary files. You may not need to buy a desktop publishing program if you already have MS Publisher which is already the most expensive of the desktop publishing programs.

2. You can't edit JPG files like you can edit a line in MS Word by backspacing and typing over text. JPG editing is like editing photos. There is no editable text in a JPG - it is an image. Any template you create in PrintMaster/PrintShop, you save as a PrintMaster/PrintShop project. They can be opened and edited in PrintMaster/PrintShop.

Thanks for quick response. One followup question to your answer. Ok say I save in PM file so I can edit. I can edit and then resave as JPG or PDF right?

Yes, all projects can be exported to different formats including JPG and PDF.
