Following is the location of the saved game file for Scrabble Journey:

For WinXP:

C:\Documents & Settings\[your username]\Application Data\Macromedia\Director MX 2004\Scrabble Journey\Prefs\sjprefs.txt

For Vista:

C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Director MX 2004\SCRABBLE Journey\Prefs\sjprefs.txt

If you are not able to find the correct file or folder, try this:

1. Go to Control Panel, then select 'Folder Options'.

2. When the Folder Options window opens, click on the 'View' tab.

3. On the View tab, click in the circle next to 'Show hidden files and folders' - to place a mark in that circle

4. Click on 'Apply', then click on 'OK.

NOTE: The sjprefs.txt file can be easily corrupted by software installations. When that happens, you will receive this error message

And, the only thing that can be done is to delete the sjprefs.txt file and start over.

So, it is always advisable to back up that sjprefs.txt file before installing any software. Then, after the software installation is complete, copy the saved game file back to the same folder.
