'for Hashing' error messages - 12/24/2009 3:11:29 PM    Brandy redux Posts: 1968 Joined: 2/7/2007 Status: offline If you ever experience either of the following 'for hashing' error messages while attempting to install Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Designer "Problem Finding Registry Keys for Hashing" or "Error Opening Write Access to One or More Configuration Files for Hashing" the recommended solution is to perform the following steps: A. Uninstall Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Designer, exactly as described in this FAQ Uninstalling Software: Thoroughly & Safely B. Go to Control Panel, then select 'Add or Remove Programs' for WinXP - or 'Programs and Features' for Vista or Windows 7. If you find either Microsoft® .NET Framework 1.1 or Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 (hotfix) in the list of installed programs, uninstall both of those programs. C. Click on this link Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package then download and install .NET Framework 1.1. Click on this link Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 then download and install .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1. D.
