Instead, Print Shop 2.0 is a completely rewritten and redesigned program which works in an entirely different manner than any previous version of Print Shop. Print Shop 23.1 is only a minor update of Print Shop 23. The only major difference between Print Shop 23 and Print Shop 23.1 is that Print Shop 23.1 is said to be more compatible with Windows 7 than is Print Shop 23. However, since Print Shop 2.0 works in an entirely different manner than any previous version of Print Shop, the functionality of Print Shop 2.0 is very different from the functionality of Print Shop 23. If your question about functionality is related to how well both Print Shop 2.0 and Print Shop 23.1 work with a 64-bit version of Windows 7, it is impossible for me to answer that question - because Print Shop 23.1 is not scheduled to be released until July 19. However, as can be seen in this pinned item, http://forums.encoreusa.com/tm.asp?m=37888 even Print Shop 23 can be successfully installed on a 64-bit version of Windows 7. With Print Shop 23 on a 64-bit version of Windows 7, the Save as PDF option does not work. However, as can be seen in this pinned item http://forums.encoreusa.com/tm.asp?m=27191 it is just as easy to Print to PDF with an alternate PDF driver as it is to Save as PDF. With Print Shop 2.0 on a 64-bit version of Windows 7, the Save as PDF option does work. The most important thing to keep in mind about the differences between Print Shop 23 and Print Shop 23.1, is that Print Shop 23.1 is only a minor upgrade which is said to be more compatible with Windows 7 than is Print Shop 23. However, since all Broderbund programs are designed for only 32-bit Operating Systems, it is very unlikely that Print Shop 23.1 will be any more compatible with a 64-bit version than is Print Shop 23. And, all features in Print Shop 23.1 will function in exactly the same manner as they do in Print Shop 23 - because the only thing that was updated in Print Shop 23.1 would have been the files which interact with the Operating System.
