My old computer (Windows 2000) had CAC Platinum 8 on it, but I have lost the original install disk and I do not want to purchase CAC Platinum 8 again because of the cost. If I were to purchase something like CAC Gold 8, would I be able to transfer everything to my new computer without problems?? Buzzsaw Post #: 1

RE: CAC Platinum 8 vs CAC Gold 8 - 7/16/2010 2:06:46 PM    Brandy redux Posts: 1968 Joined: 2/7/2007 Status: offline Hi Buzzsaw, The only real difference between CAC Platinum 8 and CAC Gold 8 is that CAC Gold 8 offers fewer built-in projects and graphics than are offered by CAC Platinum 8. So, YES, it would be possible to transfer everything to your new computer without problems. However, you might want to consider the following points: 1. On Windows 7, it is not possible to access the 'Available Online' images which are offered in any version of CAC 8 - because it is not possible to register any version of CAC 8 on Windows 7. 2. It should be possible for you to open most (if not all) of your CreataCard 8 projects in any version of Print Shop 23 or PrintMaster 18 - both of which can easily access several hundred thousand projects and graphics online. Both Print Shop 23 and PrintMaster 18 are very different from CreataCard 8. But, PrintMaster 18 is more similar to CreataCard 8 than is Print Shop 23.
