I encountered the same error experienced by the Acer Aspire One user. However, I was able to use the software once after installing it. The second time I tried to use it was when I received the incompatible display error. Any thoughts on why this would occur and what I can do to remedy

Thanks

Hi Paulinator,

As I said in reply to the Acer Aspire One user, the "Product incompatible with your display" error message indicates that the installed video card is not compatible with Mavis Beacon Deluxe 20.

Mavis Beacon requires a DirectX® 9.0 or higher compatible video card with 32 MB of video RAM, which can be set to the recommended resolution of 1024 X 768.

So, what is the full name of the video card installed on your HP Pavilion?

And, what screen resolution is selected for your HP Pavilion?
