A dxdiag report will provide us with very useful hardware information about your computer.

To produce a dxdiag report:

1. Click on 'Start', then select 'Run'.

NOTE: If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7 and you don't see a 'Run' option, click on 'Start' then just type dxdiag - without clicking on anything else. Then, when the dxdiag.exe file name is displayed in the menu, click on that file name, then proceed to Step #3 below.

2. Type dxdiag, then click on OK. This will open the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

3. When dxdiag has finished examining your system (there is a progress bar at the bottom of the window), click 'Save All Information'. This will create a text file named 'dxdiag.txt'. By default, that dxdiag.txt file will be saved to the desktop.

Please upload' the dxdiag.txt file to your forum message.
