Home and Business Lawyer-initial line at bottom of pages - 8/27/2012 9:45:39 AM

I have tried going to tools and then clicking on printing and then selecting the block to do a initial line at bottom of pages and it doesn't do anything. After checking box, I hit apply and then OK. Nothing happens.

I would appreciate any help on solving this problem.

Before I can take a shot at solving your problem, I will need to know exactly which version of Home and Business Lawyer you are using.

So, please post back here with the full name and version number of your Home and Business Lawyer.

Thanks for reply.

My program is Home and Business Lawyer version V4.

I also cannot get any page numbers to work. When I do the wizard it shows page numbers and the inital at the bottom of the page but when I finish the wizard and save it to file, these all disappear. I had a old version of Family Lawyer and it gave me the page numbers and initial area on the saved document.

Hi dponder,

Even though the Home and Business Lawyer Help file says this about initials:

"Include an area for initials at the bottom of each page

Mark this option to print a blank space preceded by the word Initials in the lower right corner of each printed page."


that option does not work for me, either. So, that would indicate that you have discovered a bug which has not been previously reported on this forum.

Unfortunately, since you are experiencing a functionality problem and Technical Support does not provide assistance for functionality problems, your only option would be to click on the link below

Hi Brandy

Thank you so much for your very prompt and thorough answer to my problems.

I did try and call techincal service and left them a message yesterday before I got on the forum and they never responded.

I am sending the disc back to them for a refund.

I did try and send the development team a message as you suggested but was unable to figure out the characters on the bottom of my message and quit after three times.

Yes dponder,

I've also experienced a problem with the word verification at the bottom of the Online Support Request form. And, the worst part is that the audio - which tells you what to enter for the word verification - is unintelligible, because it sounds like 2 or more sound bites are being played at the same time.

My method for working around the word verification process is to click on 'Submit' repeatedly until a word verification appears that I can easily read.
