Howdy! I was cleaning out my closet when i found, inside an old disk box, 4 discs with 5 games on them called "Family megahits" probably from WAY back as they are supposed to be for win95/98/me. The games are Myst, monopoly, asteroids, and 2 on the 4th disc...3d ultra minigolf & simcity2000 special edition. I'm not completely computer illiterate but when things get complicated i end up lost. I cannot for the life of me get these suckers to run. I've tried everything to do with compatibility, admin rights and nothing has worked though i have many other old games on this computer for win95/98/xp like baldur's gate, icewind dale etc(that's it's purpose while my large beastof a computer is for mmo's and larger, more modern games).
Any suggestions on what i can try? or are these games simply too old or perhaps require a dos emulator as i had to do with my old D&D collection(very old D&D gold and silver box series and others which are dos games). Any help appreciated and it's not earth shattering/end of the world stuff as i was feeling nostalgic lol If they won't work, they won't work and will be tossed in the trash. cheers

Unfortunately these titles are way too old to run on Windows Vista and 7 however that Monopoly Game you mentioned which was the Windows 95 edition of it did run on Windows XP until they added a service pack or two to it breaking the game. I am afraid that none of those games in the package will play. And since Family Megahits is an outdated product you cannot get support for it anymore.
If you are looking for a more updated version of Monopoly I suggest purchasing the game Hasbro Family Game Night where you get Monopoly and more board games.
