Troubleshooting Fritz 14 errors on Steam - 4/8/2015 12:11:27 PM

If you are playing Fritz 14 on Steam and you are encountering errors with the program please perform the following troubleshooting steps:

By default, the game installs to C:\Program Files x86\Steam\steamapps\common\Chessbase

Locate the following folders: BK. DB, DX, FRITZ, VC and VID.

In each of these folders is a component required for the game to run. Double click the file in each of the folders mentioned to reinstall the components. Once you are on the last folder, reboot your computer and attempt to launch Fritz Chess 14 again.
