When a ‘clean’ install is done of Hoyle Backgammon, exactly as described in this FAQ http://forums.encoreusa.com/tm.asp?m=24104&mpage=1&key=%E5%B8%A8 it should be possible to successfully install Hoyle Backgammon on both a 32-bit version of Windows 7 and a 64-bit version of Windows 7. However, since there are known problems with the Launchpad, the Launchpad should not be installed. So, when the window opens which asks you if you want to install Launchpad, click on 'Cancel', then follow the directions below. To install only Hoyle Backgammon - without installing the Launchpad - do the following: 1. Put the Hoyle Backgammon Install disc into the drive NOTE: If the disc is already in the drive, skip to Step #3 below 2. When the Autorun window opens, click on the Red X in the upper right hand corner of the window - to close that window 3. Click on 'Start', then hover your mouse pointer over 'Computer' 4. When the list of drives drops down, right click on the drive where you inserted the Hoyle Board Games 2007 Install disc 5. Select 'Open' 6. Double click on 'HoyleBackgammon-1.0.0..exe'
