Annoying sounds - 1/30/2011 2:13:21 PM    bill2reg   Posts: 1 Joined: 1/30/2011 Status: offline I have had the older version of Hoyle Board games for several years. It wouldn't install on my new PC (Win 7) so I bought and installed the 2011 version. It works fine, but when playing YACHT, there is an extremely annoying "laugh" sound when you roll the dice. Now I can turn off all sounds, but then I don't get the feedback sounds for the dice roll and clicks when you click the dice you want to keep, etc. I can't find any separate .wav or mp3 files that might have been installed as part of this software so I'm thinking that the sounds are integrated into the program code itself. But it anyone knows how to get rid of the annoying laugh in YACHT, please let me know. I won't even play this game with that sound , and it's one of my favorites. Post #: 1

And, if you will scroll to the last message in that discussion, you will see that that sound is built into the program as part of the Sound Effects.
