A good photo editor lets you specify a compression level when you save as JPG. If you don't have such a program, MS Paint will suffice. Whenever you save as JPG with MS Paint, it applies a "medium-high" compression automatically. For example, your img00002.jpg is currently 179 kb. I opened it in MS Paint and resaved it. Here is the result at 55 kb. There's always some quality loss when you compress, but a small loss in quality for the sake of faster downloading is generally preferred. PrintMaster has a built-in photo-editor (The Photo Workshop). It is a very limited photo-editor without JPG compression controls. The industry standard is Adobe's PhotoShop. RE: MS Paint - 8/11/2007 7:50:51 PM    lindarobin Posts: 947 Joined: 8/28/2004 Status: offline Since PrintMaster's webpage project generates image files that are not exactly what you want (in this case, the file sizes are too big), you will create alternative image files OUTSIDE of the PrintMaster program. You would then upload the new files to your web server. It is important to keep the exact same file names so that you effectively overwrite the old ones - a one-for-one replacement. This may become too cumbersome for you because everytime you update your PrintMaster webpage and regenerate your HTML files, you will have to figure out what to upload and what not to upload so that the image files that you created in MS Paint don't get overwritten. As you become comfortable with how the web project works, you will know that adding another page, but not changing any of the previous pages, will give you additional files to upload. ***YOU WILL ONLY HAVE TO UPLOAD THE ADDITIONAL FILES*** and not the entire folder of files that is regenerated every time you Publish to Folder.
