I have files printed professionally all the time, on large commercial laser printers where I work. There is no "true black" requirement. We send the print job through with a setting of full colour or black only. You, the customer needn't do anything to your file. If you want true black (versus process black which is a mix of cyan, yellow and magenta), just tell the print shop you want black only, not process black. The only thing you have to provide is a PDF file OR a file that the print shop can work with. eg. JPG, TIF. It is unlikely that a Broderbund(PrintMaster) file format can be recognized by most professional printers. They mostly use Adobe and/or Microsoft programs.
