In Print Shop 23 Deluxe when using Calender Creator what I see on my screen isn't what prints. I've set events to size 14 type but it reverts back when I print. Can anybody help?

Hi mwwhitt,

All print jobs for all Print Shop and Calendar Creator Express projects are controlled by the printer driver for the selected printer.

And, for the Calendar Creator Express program in Print Shop, all print jobs are controlled by the default printer - because it is not possible to print to any printer other than the default printer in Calendar Creator Express.

So, the first thing you should do is to go to your default printer manufacturer's web site to download and install the most current printer driver for your Operating System.

If updating the printer driver does not solve the problem, the next step would be to click on this link

Computer Cleanup on WinXP, WinVista & Win7

then follow the directions in that FAQ.

If a computer cleanup does not solve your problem, and if you have more than one printer installed on your computer, you might be able to fix the problem by updating the printer driver for that printer then setting that second printer as the default printer.

Hi again mwwhitt,

There are a couple other possible explanations for your event size reverting back when you print.

If there is more than one event in a day cell, or if the font size is too large to allow all of the text to fit into the day cell, Calendar Creator Express will automatically reduce the size of the text so that all text will fit into the day cell. But, when this happens, you should see this on the workspace long before you go to print.

And, unfortunately, Calendar Creator will occasionally, and arbitrarily, change the font size or alignment when the calendar is formatted for printing. When that happens, I'm afraid there's not much that can be done about it.
