Print borderless photos on 4/sheet postcard paper ? - 5/14/2010 11:29:33 AM    dolphin24   Posts: 2 Joined: 5/14/2010 Status: offline I'm using the Printmaster Gold 2.0 version, and i'm having a hard time printing my photos on postcard paper that has 4/sheet. There was no ready made template for what i'm trying to do, so i just use custom. Well when it ask the size, i just put landscape 8.5 by 11 inch paper size. That way each photo is 4.25 by 5.5 but when i print it out on a test paper, the four photos is in the center of the 8.5 by 11 paper, but the size itself 8.5 by 6.5.....which i want it FULL PAGE, then i can tear the paper apart and have postcards. How do I print full page, the 8.5 by 11 with each photo being 4.25 by 5.5????? I do look at the print preview, and it tells me it's going to print full page, but it doesn't!! It's sooooo frustrated, i'm pulling my hair out trying to do it but i can't. I might just have to return the program to the store, and find something else. RE: Print borderless photos on 4/sheet postcard paper ? - 5/14/2010 9:47:54 PM    Brandy redux Posts: 2376 Joined: 2/7/2007 Status: offline Hi dolphin24, It sounds to me like you haven't yet changed the margins from the default 1.0" margin that is set for all PrintMaster Platinum 2.0 projects. So, please try this: 1. Select 'File' in the menu bar then select 'Print Setup' in the menu that drops down. 2. When the 'Page Setup' window opens, make sure the Paper Size is set to 8 1/2 x 11. 3. Change all 4 margins to 0.00. NOTE: If the selected printer is not set to print borderless, each of the margins will be automatically reset to match the default margin settings for the selected printer. 4. Click on OK to return to the workspace. 5. I just need to get the white border off, which is still not working....i might just leave it on, cuz it kind of looks good with the border. And all the margins i changed to 0.00, but one of them keeps going back to 0.19 or something like that...I'll figure it out, now that i have an idea on what i'm doing. RE: Print borderless photos on 4/sheet postcard paper ? - 5/15/2010 9:55:52 PM    Brandy redux Posts: 2376 Joined: 2/7/2007 Status: offline Hi dolphin24, As I mentioned earlier, when the margins in PrintMaster 2.0 are set to 0.00 and the selected printer is NOT set to Borderless, the margins will be automatically reset to match the default margin settings for the selected printer. And, if the selected printer is not a borderless printer, it will not be possible to reduce all margins to 0.0. However, it is sometimes possible to reduce the margin settings. To do so, you would select File | Print, click on Properties, then activate whatever margin options are available in printer Properties for reducing the size of the margins.
