Transparent background - 4/10/2010 6:59:18 PM    bgifford   Posts: 1 Joined: 4/10/2010 Status: offline Recently purchased Print Shop 23 Deluxe and was told I would be able to make the background of a graphic transparent. When copying a graphic from MS Word, for example, I have a white box around the graphic. Is it possible to make this white box disappear? Post #: 1

You were told incorrectly. There are no sophisticated tools to remove a background easily and seamlessly. There is the freehand crop tool, found in the Photo Workshop feature which is rather a "blunt" instrument, but it may do an acceptable job depending on the situation. Both GIF and PNG formats support transparency, but the Print Shop does not support PNG with transparency. You may be forced to save your graphic as GIF in order to import it to Print Shop.
