Search for a word in the Events List - 8/9/2011 7:06:36 AM    rhuriaux   Posts: 2 Joined: 7/30/2011 Status: offline I am trying to find out how to search for a word in the Event List for a calendar. I have clicked on "Show Event List", then "Events", and then "Find Description." This enables finding an event description in the event list only if one knows the exact term from the beginning. Is there any way to search on a word or string of characters that appear anywhere in an event description? Older version of CC had this capability. RE: Search for a word in the Events List - 8/9/2011 7:24:17 AM    DEJenc3 Posts: 533 Joined: 6/22/2005 Status: offline Hi, rhuriaux, To get around the limitation of having to enter the entire description in the Event List, use the Filter (Menu: Events, Filter or use the dropdown arrow next to what normally will say "All"). Check the box "Text in description." Enter your text in the text box. Click OK. It's important to keep in mind that the search is case-sensitive.
