To remove programs under Windows 8 do the following:

1. Make sure you are on your Start Tile Screen.

2. Identify the program you wish to install

3. Scroll through the list of tiles until you see your program listed.

4. Once found, right click on the tile. A bar pops up on the bottom screen. On the bottom left click "Uninstall"

Once you click Uninstall, Program and Features pops up. Let the list populate. Then scroll down the list until you find your program listed. Left click the program on the list 1 time, then right click and select "Uninstall"

If you are on the desktop, you can easily access "Program and Features" by moving your mouse to the bottom left of the screen. The Start Box should appear. Just right click the Start Box and select "Programs and Features" and the Uninstall list appears after.
