Hi! I just purchased the Printmaster v6 Platinum software, and this is what I am having a problem with. I make art notecards on 8 1/2' x 11' specialty paper. After setting up my page layout on this size, I want to adjust the image layout... It appears that there is an adjustment setting on all 4 borders. When I change the numbers, it goes back to a default number. This, in turn, creates too much margin one one or 2 sides--not at all balanced to center my art (jpg.) I was able to adjust these numbers in the Printmaster 11.0 Platinum. It APPEARS I can do the same with this version, but before I can print, it reverts back to a default number. Please help me out--as I have an art show coming up soon. I have a new HP Photosmart 6520 all in one printer.--there are NO adjustment settings on printer. Thanks.

Notecards - two cards on one sheet? You need equal margins around your two rectangles? Or just equal margins around the sheet of paper?

What I need is more of an equal margin around the ENTIRE page...with the same spacing in the middle for the page break. The specialty paper is designed for 2 notecards per page...with a prefold and perforated in middle... thanks.

If you were to print as close to the edge of the paper as possible, would you say that your printer typically has a larger margin on the trailing edge of the paper, and a tiny margin on the leading edge?

It's common that even when all margins are minimized, that the trailing edge margin is bigger than the leading edge. Let's say the trailing edge margin is 0.5 inches. Then you would have to make all your margins 0.5 inches to equalize all margins.

If that is too much margin, then the workaround is to only design one notecard on your paper, at the leading edge. Print that, turn your paper 180 degrees, re-insert the paper and print again. This results in "two leading edges, no trailing edges".
