Big problems with text box linking and printing - 11/18/2014 7:54:19 PM    brmountaineer   Posts: 1 Joined: 11/18/2014 Status: offline After years of happily using PrintShop, I am totally beffled and frustrated by 3.5, which was purchased after upgrading my OS to Windows 8.1. 2 problems have arisen so far: 1. Trying to create a newsletter, I tried linking text across text boxes, both on the same page, and on separate pages. Never got it to work. 2. In order to see if the pages printed properly, I put a a little bit of content on each of 8 pages. Each page took almost 30 minutes to print. Yikes! The only other thing I've tried is to simply put a number (as headline) on each blank page of the newsletter: 01-08. Hit print again to test it.The program has shown (Not Responding) for over on hour. What's up. PrintShop used to be great. I'd like to use this, but impossible with issues like these. Post #: 1

Hope I'm not too late to help you. Re: linking text boxes. They don't work. I'm using Win 7. It appears to work when displayed in the workspace, but soon as I go to print, the linked text box print is the same as in the first text box. They know about this problem and I hope there will be a fix soon. As to your experience with the print taking too long, that sounds like a technical problem. The first thing I would do is check for new printer drivers for your make and model of printer that is compatible with Win 8.1. As a workaround, try Saving As PDF. Then print the PDF.
