You can compensate for misalignment if the misalignment is predictable. For example, if the print is consistently 2mm too far to the right, just group everything in your design and move it 2mm to the left. Then print. Your printer options probably have a way to reset alignment, but it's probably more complicated than the method above. It's important to know that it's normal for your printer to be off by 2mm. Printer feed variance. You could print 10 copies of the same project and the starting point of the printing would vary within 2mm for each copy.
