I am a new user to Printshop Deluxe Version 21. I am creating a slideshow to put on a DVD. I haven't had any problems (so far) with my photos but I do have a problem with the background music. I want to add my own music. I have downloaded the song to my computer (with permission!) but when I try to access it through the Printshop program, the song doesn't show up in the file. It does show up when I open the file without Printshop. Does this program not allow you to use your own music?

MP3 files are not supported in PS. Convert it to WAV and that should work. You can find free downloads that will do the conversion.
