I am building a web site. I am trying to create a template and if possible more options for building a web site using Print Shop Pro. I have a domain. Does Encore or Broderbund have a site builder like MS's "Frontpage". I need to be able to utilize the address book within the website. Any recommendations? Bontek

There is the "Print Shop Web Designer" which is a limited version of the Virtual Mechanics Site Spinner program.

I don't believe you can buy Front Page anymore. It's been replaced by MS Expression Web which is $299 US.

The Print Shop Pro web project cannot utilize the address book or any data records. You would have to manage data with SQL (Structured Query Language) and incorporate that into your web site. Probably true even with the Print Shop Web Designer. MySQL is an open-source database.

I do not know how MS Expression Web or Site Spinner work with SQL, but I'm sure someone on their forums can tell you.

Seriously, I think it's important to learn basic HTML and CSS because without that knowledge, all web site design programs are difficult to use. Dreamweaver, the industry standard, is used well by people who know HTML/CSS/XHTML. It's a struggle for anyone else.

Many good tutorial sites like this one:
