What is the simplest way to paste into a Broderbund (graphic)
image a Unicode (text) string? I want to insert a brief
message in Russian i.e. Cyrillic font, from an EML source.

If the text will not copy/paste into a text box (all depends on whether you have the necessary font installed), then you can create a graphic of the text instead.

Zoom in and take a screenshot. Edit/ paste it into your project. Crop it.

If the results are too pixelated, edit/ paste it into a photo-editing program that can do a good job of converting the clipboard contents into a JPG. Then you can import the JPG into your Print Shop project.

Thanks lindarobin: copy was done OK via
(1) Save EML As Unicode Text file
(2) Copy and Paste into Print Shop
(3) This displays as a single horizontal line but with handles
i.e. it can be expanded to show the Unicode Cyrillic text OK.
It can also be edited for colour.
PROBLEM REMAINS that although it displays as normal the
Unicode unit prints out as flipped (upside down mirror image.)
The flipped printing persists even if the Unicode unit is
flipped in the file so that it appears on screen upside down.
Either way in the file (normal or flipped) it prints flipped.
Any ideas? / Thanks.

Can you print the EML file from Outlook Express without problems? If it prints flipped from that application, too, it means your printer driver can't handle Cyrillic. Then the solution would be to create a JPG or GIF image.
