Calendar Creator Plus for Windows Gold Edition v. 2

released under the SoftKey brand name
copyright 1995 by SoftKey Multimedia

Minimum System Requirements
    Windows 3.x / 95
I have confirmed that Calendar Creator Plus for Windows Gold Edition v. 2 works quite well on 32-bit versons of Windows XP, Vista & Windows 7. However, Calendar Creator Plus for Windows Gold Edition v. 2 cannot be installed on any 64-bit version of Windows - because the program's setup.exe file contains 16-bit programming code, which was commonly used in Windows 3.x / 95 applications. 64-bit Operating Systems cannot handle 16-bit programming code.

NOTE: Events lists for Calendar Creator Plus for Windows Gold Edition v. 2 are saved as *.CCE files.

Printer support: Works with most popular printers (monochrome and color) supported by Windows.

I have confirmed that Calendar Creator v. 8 can be successfully installed on a 64-bit version of Windows 7.

It is not possible to register Calendar Creator 8 - because 1) Calendar Creator 8 is several years old and 2) it is no longer possible to access the registration site. So, when you reach the registration phase of the installation process, the recommended procedure is to just click on 'Register Later'.

It is not possible to access the 'ExpressIt Art' online images on the Art Gallery - because ExpressIt was discontinued approximately 2004. So, when you open Calendar Creator 8, select Add | Picture to open the Art Gallery, then click on the 'Expressit Art' tab, the 'Expressit Registration Required' window will open. Since registration is not possible, your only option would be to click on the 'Cancel' button, then click on the 'Art and Photos' tab - to access the images which were included on the Calendar Creator 8 disc.

It is not possible to access the online images on the 'More Art & Photos' tab of the Art Gallery - because those online images are no longer available. So, when you open Calendar Creator 9, select Add | Picture to open the Art Gallery, then click on the 'More Art & Photos' tab of the Art Gallery, a 'Please Select User' window will open, with only one selectable option - 'Add User'. Since it is no longer possible to Add a User, the recommended method for getting back to the Art Gallery is to click on the X in the upper right hand corner of that 'Please Select User' window. To select images that are included on the Calendar Creator CD, click on the 'All Art & Photos' tab of the Art Gallery.
