Print Shop Ensemble was originally released Jan. 16, 1995, & Print Shop Ensemble III was originally released Aug. 19, 1996.

Both of those programs were originally designed for only Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. And, no version of Print Shop Ensemble can be installed on any WinXP SP 3 or newer Operating System - regardless of whether that Operating System is 32-bit or 64-bit.

And, unfortunately, it is not possible to open any projects created with any version of Print Shop Ensemble in any newer version of Print Shop.

I have personally confirmed that it is not possible to open Print Shop Ensemble files in even Print Shop 6, which was originally released in 1999. So, what the means is that the file format for Print Shop Ensemble is completely different from the file format for all later versions of Print Shop.
