I ordered my software and it was shipped to me. Every time I try to install it I am asked for a serial number and activation code. I do not have these things. I have tried different numbers on the cd and the serial number of my computor. How can I get this information as I am not able to install my software?

Hi ksastables,

Since you posted in the 'The Print Shop 23.1 and older' forum, I originally assumed that you were asking about The Print Shop 23.1. However, the only time that Print Shop 23.1 would require a serial number or an activation code would be when that product was purchased as a download. And, when I checked the Broderbund.com and Encore.com web sites, I discovered that, currently, Print Shop 23.1 is not being sold as a download.

The Print Shop 2.0 is currently being sold as a download. However, I don't believe that Print Shop 2.0 would ever ask for both a serial number AND an activation code - even for a download.

The only Broderbund/Encore product that I am aware of which would ask for both a serial number AND an activation code is Web Design Studio. However, as you might have already seen, there is no 'Web Design Studio' forum on these Encore forums. And, since there is no forum, that means that support for the Web Design Studio is not provided on these Encore forums.

However, even if support were provided on these Encore forums for Web Design Studio (or for the product you are trying to install if you are not trying to install Web Design Studio), the problem you are experiencing is a Customer Service problem. Since these Encore forums were set up to provide only functionality (how-to or how does it work) support and since moderators on these Encore forums are volunteers only, who are neither employed by nor connected with either Customer Service or Technical Support, we are not able to provide Customer Service for any Broderbund/Encore product.

So, your only option, I'm afraid, would be to click on the link below

then follow the directions in that FAQ for contacting Customer Service.
