PS 23.1 deluxe won't let me move an object - 9/23/2012 10:03:50 AM    Joaniecat   Posts: 2 Joined: 9/23/2012 Status: offline It is not part of a group, all of the 'snap' type functions are disabled, yet when I click on my object and try to drag it, it won't move. It will re-size, but it won't budge. I worked on a project a while ago and everything was fine. I tried again with the previous project and nothing will move on it now, either! Argh! Post #: 1

I believe you can move the object via the position tab. Either right-click the object or select it and click on the part of the status bar at the bottom that shows the object's position. Go to the position tab and type in new co-ordinates. Let me know if this works. If it is greyed out, I suspect the object has been locked. Let me know if this is your situation. Whatever the gremlin was, it seems to have fixed itself. Everything works fine now. My last two PS have been a little buggy, too. Always seems to happen when I need to finish a project in a hurry. If that doesn't completely take care of the problem, a clean reinstall of the program after a computer cleanup should do the trick.
