Hello,

I have birthday's categorized by family, and would like to apply a style to the whole cell, every year. I know that I can format the event text for newly inserted events, but I'd like to be able to automatically format anniversary dates every year.

Possible?

Hi, creator,

I'm not entirely clear on what you'd like to do, and it looks like you're aware that you can change formatting on events based on customizing the formatting for the category. If you've revised formatting for a category, you can apply that format to a previously-entered event by re-selecting the category for it. The category formatting is for individual events, but not for the entire cell. Is this at all what you had in mind?

Set the Properties for Anniverary.
As you add events categorized as "Anniversary", all those events will have the same formatting. If you decide to change the Properties for Anniversary, then all events categorized as "Anniversary" will automatically change to the new formatting.

Is this what you meant? For each different style, you'll need a different category. So if "Smith family birthdays" are to be a different style than "Jones family birthdays", you would need those two separate categories. As David said in post #2
