How do I make a multi coloured headline in 3.5 deluxe. there are instructions on the help page but they say to add the second colour to the second box. There is no second box. even in the picture they supply three is no second box. I use this feature a lot in 23.

There is more than one kind of "multi-colored". You can do a gradient fill or you can do an outline color.

Are you trying to work with the Gradient Picker? The second box is the skinny white rectangle just below the thicker rectangle.

forget it. I found the video that sows you where the boxes are . It is not obvious that the little squares are the boxes they mean. when there are several large boxes on the page. why is it that people that can writ a program can not write a decent manual.

I was creating my screen capture while you posted. You can have up to 4 colors on your gradient.

Thank you, it was frustrating to find the answer. I did searches and got nothing. I guess it's like making a doctors appointment. you instantly get better. After trying all afternoon I posted the question then figured it out.

This forum is the best place to ask how to use the program. You got replies within an hour!
